    1. That’s definitely a major possibility, and a few weeks ago I would have said the same thing. After Iñárritu’s DGA win, I feel like he’s picked up some momentum. Both he and Linklater had grand visions for their films, which the Academy honors. Also, what used to be the rare occasion where Picture and Director went to different films has become the norm after the last two years; I don’t see that trend continuing for much longer, so I’m going with Birdman for both.
